Tanya has worked in co-operatives and charities for 20 years, as a fundraiser, manager and mentor, including Rethink, Platform, the Centre for Alternative Technology and Hamwic Housing Co-operative. She is a mentor and adviser to PIRC on internal working practices.
She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Policy and completed a one year course in how to set up and run co-operatives and social firms, from Southampton Area Co-operative Development Agency.
She has lectured at CAT’s Graduate School of the Environment on policy and at King Alfred’s College on exploring mental health through drama and movement.
She specialises in helping individuals and organisations to improve their work and workplaces and advises on all levels of fundraising management.
She’s currently writing ‘Work in Progress – The Art of Organising,‘ a tool kit for organisations who would like to change and improve on their working practices.
She’s also a dog trainer, which has proved surprisingly relevant!
